Camera movement - 2

ICM - intentional camera movement, defined in Wikipedia as: "... a camera is moved during the exposure for a creative or artistic effect. This causes the image points to move across the recording medium, producing an apparent streaking in the resulting image."

It's not my usual technique, however over the weekend a group of togs has been challenged to try it just as an exercise. Thanks for the inspiration Seng Mah, it was fun!

I had a go in my garden and also went to Hillarys boat harbor for a quick shoot.
Finished up with images of boats and houses as I've never seen them before. Also got a picture of a lighthouse lifting off into the sky. Yet my favourite was the image of kite-surfers off a beach nearby.

Wow! How the time flies!

I cannot believe I haven’t written here for almost four months!

Things happening, both with me and around me. With all the social isolation stuff some of my projects had to be cancelled or postponed, social life that was beginning to take shape went partially online and partially down the drain…

The good thing, it made me think sideways. I have decided to brush up my coding (I used to be a software developer in my previous life) and create a website for a group of fellow artists. By the way, can one call a bunch of ladies fellows in this case?

Anyway, I am still at it, the site is taking shape, some more input from the participants is needed though. Here it is:

jacarandaart.wordpress.com

Also I am writing a smaller site for one of the artists and then… I might even get organised and fix my own site!

Looking forward to it.
